Problem:
Employees at this chain restaurant are responsible for completing daily closing tasks, but not all tasks were consistently finished. As a result, the opening shift had to handle additional cleaning and preparation. This left employees with a difficult choice: delay opening to complete unfinished tasks or perform them while serving customers.

Solution:
Employees needed clear, detailed training on a new closing procedure that required coordination between one front-of-house and one back-of-house team member. This approach was designed to improve employee safety and clarify responsibilities. I developed an e-learning course to train staff on the new procedures, helping ensure tasks were completed correctly and allowing the restaurant to open on time, fully prepared for service.
